The potential of using social network sites in qualitative research

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the potential use of social network sites (SNS) in qualitative research. The possibilities and limitations of social network sites as a plane and the instrument to use in selected methods and techniques of qualitative research are described. Social networks tend to be attractive, but so far they have been used to a limited extent as a plane to conduct qualitative research. In the near future the increase of supply of marketing research agencies in the area of qualitative research in social networking sites is expected.
