Summary/Abstract: The article brings up the problem of shaping cultural sex in the world dominated by mass media and popular culture. The author analyses three year’s issues of popular magazines for girls at different age: “Księżniczka”, “13. Magazyn Szczęśliwej Nastolatki”, “Dziewczyna” and she shows the model of femininity which is promoted in magazines for children and youth, the examples and values which are recommended and propagated among girls.
