Subjective quality of life and demographic qualities of the sample community

Summary/Abstract: Satisfaction with own life is accepted as a key indicator of the subjective quality of life. The article analyses different social groups by comparing their satisfaction with life. The aim of the analysis was to determine which of chosen demographic qualities (nationality, sex, address, age, education, professional situation) differentiate the community in terms of subjective quality of life. This study incorporates the results of the research carried out among the inhabitants of two neighbouring districts i.e. Zgorzelec and Görlitz districts.
