A promise in licensed economic activity

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the characteristics of a promise in the area of economic activity that requires a concession. The promise was incorporated into Polish legal system in 1988. The article discusses regulations concerning this institution taking into account former and actual acts concerning economic activity. Observations presented in this article illustrate the promise as a specific administrative act. The promise is issued on request and is valid for limited time. On the expiry of this period, in principle, the authority shall issue an administrative act which is a concession.
