Summary/Abstract: The study presents public aid granted to entrepreneurs in Poland in the recession period 2008-2011. Empirical identification was applied to public aid for enterprises with regard to: aid value, its forms and allocation, entities granting aid, regional diversification in Poland divided by voivodeships and the size of beneficiary.
