Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article was to analyze the relationship between the the company of SMEs and a selected group of its stakeholders during the implementation of ecological innovation. The study was conducted using a case study in a selected enterprise, which was implementing a solution of social responsibility at a strategic level. A dialogue with consumers was conducted to explore the possibility of establishing relations between them and a socially responsible company and to determine possible implications for business arising from this relationship. The results indicate that the dialogue has an important function in managing small and medium-sized enterprises. Its role is limited not only to communicate socially responsible activities to consumers, but it is also an important part of management to enable the involvement of consumers and other stakeholders in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainable development.
