Value chain analysis as a tool for cost reduction in the process-based middle enterprise model

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to present the theoretical and application aspect of value chain analysis as a tool for cost reduction in the process-based enterprise model. Research methodology adopted in this work is the analysis of the literature in the field of management accounting and management, and empirical research carried out by the induction adequate case study. The author built the case study based on research carried out for many years of his work in consulting companies. Thesis research: the reduction of costs in the enterprise requires the use of not only tools of managerial accounting but also other management tools such as value chain analysis. The innovation of this article is to present a methodology for the implementation of value chain analysis as a tool for cost reduction in the process-based enterprise model in practice.
