Summary/Abstract: This article is a proposal for interpreting Joanna Bator’s "Japoński wachlarz" (Japanese Fan) in the context of psycho-geographical concepts of the city, with the use of such domains as sensory geography or emotional geography of districts. The objective of the analysis is to demonstrate how Bator, from the perspective of an anthropologist, presents the poetical nature of the city.
