The Function and Meaning of the Adjetive White in Folk Poetry

Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the function and meaning of the adjective white in folk poetry. Reading of two collections of folk poetry, it was found that the adjective often occurs as part of the established structures. In that sence the aim of this paper is to detect possible language functions and meanings that adjective white has in folk poetry.
