Summary/Abstract: An attempt have been taken in a paper to assess importance of usage of marketing tools in banking. On the background of theoretical deliberations connected with issues of marketing activity of a bank, especially choice of strategy in the range of marketing tools, the author presented results of survey research on the level of their effectiveness in a studied unit. Results of empirical studies enable to state that marketing activities of the analyzed unit are realized in an effective way, making it possible to keep strong competitive position, the only thing which in the opinion of respondents needs to be improved is promotional activity of the bank.
