Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to show the influence of territorial marketing on the development of the municipality. In the publication, apart from the method of critical analysis of the literature of the subject, related to the subject matter, the questionnaire was used. Interpretation of the study results was made using the inductive-deductive method. The research shows that territorial marketing, which in this case is a municipality, plays an important role in the development of this self-government unit. The application of all territorial marketing mix factors has a significant impact on stimulating local development. It is important, however, to drive marketing efforts to bring the best benefits to the local community. For local governments, the essence of territorial marketing results from specific tasks: market research, marketing planning, verification of the effectiveness of marketing tools. This article is a case study.
