Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses and evaluates social, organizational and methodical problems occurring in the processes of strategic human resources management in capital groups (holdings).The methods of solving of such a kind of problems have been proposed. The case study of this issue is IMPEL S.A. located in Wrocław. The results of empirical research conducted in June 2014 in this organization indicate the presence of personnel, cultural, organizational, procedural and financial problems mentioned above, within the processes of building, implementing and realization of personnel strategy of IMPEL S.A. The representative of researched capital group regarded the mentality of top managers as a crucial problem in the light of its impact upon the effectiveness of the whole process of strategic human resources management within the organization. The problem is a direct source of other personnel, organizational and financial problems in this field.
