Energetyka prosumencka i jej wpływ na rynek energii elektrycznej
Prosumer energy model and its impact on the electricity market

Summary/Abstract: Both in Poland and in Europe one of the main directions of the electricity market development may be moving away from conventional energy system for local distributed energy. The main determinant of changes in this approach is the behavior of active energy buyers - prosumers (pol. person who is both producer and consumer), with particular emphasis on investment in renewable energy micro-sources. The aim of the article is to characterize prosumer energy model and to show the main barriers and benefits of its development as well as to demonstrate the impact of prosumer energy on the electricity market in Poland.
