Summary/Abstract: The concept of sustainable development has become the main paradigm of development. The main objective of sustainable development is a better meeting of all (physical and mental) human needs through a strong connection and relationship to the natural environment. The development of innovation in frame of the Triple Helix model can help achieve these aims. These two concepts can complement each other and promote development.
