ARMENIAN CULTURAL AND LITERARY ELEMENTS IN ROMANIAN GEOGRAPHICAL SPACE

Summary/Abstract: The following study aims to provide an insight in the analyze of cultural dimension and in the specialized literary output (about Armenian community) written by the representative personalities from the community and from outside of community. The close connection within the Armenian community from Diaspora was the main engine of cultural development and literary production represent a reflection of that identity. In historiography and in literature the attention to the Armenian community became higher in the interwar period when, after some political contexts that caused an influx of migrants to Romania, Armenian cultural life was revitalized and cultural production was enriched. The present study has two distinct research directions. The fist direction is represented by historical contextualization of Armenian presence in Romanian area and the second one is focus on the presentation of cultural literary elements.
