The involvement of local partners from poznan agglomeration in the process of building Poznań metropolitan area

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the paper is an analysis of the involvement of local economic and NGO partners from Poznan agglomeration in the process of building Poznan Metropolitan Area. The purpose is to present the opinion of the partners about the development of metropolis and opinion relating directly to the development of Poznan Metropolitan area, their interpretation and explanation. The particular attention is focused on the involvement of local partners in the building process of Poznan Metropolitan Area through their participation in the partnership networks. The prioritization of the obstacles to process of the development of Poznań Metropolitan Area was carried out based on the examination of the partners opinion. The paper also presents partners opinion about actions to accelerate the formation of a cohesion and international significance of this area.
