Summary/Abstract: In the modern development of society, information economy is transformed into a knowledge economy, and knowledge management is based on identification and provision of information for use, in order to meet information needs. The meaning of information can be useful, but not necessarily. Information can be seen as a concept that has been tested, accurate and organized with the specific purpose related within the context that gives it meaning and significance. Information is a process and an active communication. Knowledge is the appropriate collection of information which is intended to be useful. Knowledge consists of organizational information that can be used to create new knowledge and data. When one memorises - remembers, there is a possibility of adoption, retention and use of information. Memory is a place where information is stored. A user who comes to the library and get information in time and with quality from librarians-informationists, he completes his knowledge from certain area and uses it for further placement and learning.
