Logistics projects management – mass, sporting events in crisis situations

Summary/Abstract: Social, economic and envirinmental changes that have been taking place in the last years, cause that it is more and more difficult to avoid arising threats. It also concerns mass, sporting events, which organization requires new, innovative solutions, which minimize a chance of crisis situations. The primiary aim of this article is the identification of potential crisis situations during the organization of mass, sporting events and the ways of their counteraction from the logistics management projects point of view. The object of the study are mass, sporting events and the critical analysis of literature sources, own observations and the analysis of legal acts are the used scientific methods. The author specified innovativeness, project approach and safety management as key aspects of appropriate mass events management. Thanks to these aspects a threat and risk connected to turbulent environment and participation of public have significantly fallen.
