Summary/Abstract: This paper looks at the connection that representatives of the Bulgarian lingo-cultural community make between the cold and a person's health. Through lingocultural (anthropological) analysis of Bulgarian and English phrases and sayings we discover a national-specific fragment from the Bulgarian worldview, linked to the theme 'health'.
