Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to show that women in Poland are clearly undervalued in terms of high salaries. The analyzes are based on GUS data from every October in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010. From each voivodeship and each year 5 men and 5 women were selected, with the highest total salaries. These people were called nabob, real nabob and supernabob. In order to show the wage’s undervaluation of women in comparison with men some indicators were constructed. The indicators can assess the level of earnings of women, their age, seniority and education level against the men. Constructed analyzes clearly showed that women in each year had clearly lower wages than men. Admittedly women are on average a little younger than men, and therefore they have often somewhat less seniority. However, women definitely surpass men in education. These arguments show undervaluation of women in terms of high salaries.
