Some aspects of socio-economic history of Poland in years 1918-2011 (on the basis of research by CSO)

Summary/Abstract: The paper present a partial comparison of three historical periods of Poland in the scope of some social and economic issues (interwar period, the People’s Republic of Poland, years since 1990). The following issues have been included: structure of population on account of several criteria (by sex and age, nationality, educational level), description of labour market, measurement of well-being of people, structure of national income on account of the influence of sectors of national economy on its size.
