Regional support fund for the financing innovations transactions - conceptual approach

Summary/Abstract: Regional Support Fund for the Financing Innovation Transactions represents an entity which has been established to support micro, small and medium enterprises implementing new or significantly improved solutions – e.g. product or process oriented ones – in the region covered by its activity. The support offered by the Fund takes the form of guarantees for innovators’ obligations resulting from loans and credits taken, as well as subsidizing interest repayment from these debts. Conceptual presentation of this structure offers solutions supporting collecting means for the deposit guarantee (an unconventional offer of benefits for depositors), facilitating its usage (capital multiplier rule, the rule of guarantee sums quarterly update). The rules of guarantee transactions were also more clearly specified, as well as the accompanying economic operations, among others, with regard to depositing financial means at the Fund account and investing its available resources.
