Summary/Abstract: As a result of archaeological research, on a bank of the Călmățui river, one has found two clay storage vessels, probably deposited whole, as part of a seasonal storage by herders. Because of the sandy layer, the shape of the pits could not be identified. Based on the type of the clay vessels, as well as the pottery fragments found nearby, the vestiges were dated to the 5th-3rd c. BC.
