Remarks on the Romanian Translations of Niccolò Machiavelli’s “The Prince”

Summary/Abstract: Machiavelli's work, which proved to be a real milestone that marks the foundation of the modern political theory, is the result of his assimilation of a complex reflection on history, and especially of his direct political and diplomatic experience. The paper is on the translations of Machiavelli’s masterpiece, „Il Principe”, into Romanian and on its influence in the Romanian thought.
