Summary/Abstract: In the present study the concept „freedom“ shall be researched in the lexicography, in the traditional spiritual culture, refl ected in the Bulgarian proverbs and sayings as well as in the phraseology. There shall be analyzed the differences and similarities in the semantics of the concept in any of its realizations.
