Assessment of decision risk in key professional decisions of managers

Summary/Abstract: Key professional decisions of managers are their most important decisions made during professional career. Making them a decision-maker has to take a risk into account. It happens when a decision-maker makes a choice leading to different, unwanted consequences of actions and does not know the probability of these consequences. Multi-faceted risk can manifest in the feeling of resignation, feeling of loss and in the prediction of this loss probability as well as the possibility to suffer failure. The research which is presented in the article refers to real decisions made by managers during their professional career and to the assessment of risk they noticed before making a decision.
