Multidimensional analysis of financial condition of e-business services

Summary/Abstract: E-services are services which provision is via the Internet, is automated (may require little human intervention) and remote. E-service is different from a service in the traditional aspect because of lack of human intervention on the other side and the provision at a distance. This article aims to isolate class enterprise e-services sector, with a similar level of financial condition on the basis of selected financial indicators and identify indicators with the highest discriminatory power. The objective of the research methods used multivariate statistical analysis − cluster analysis, k-means method and classification trees. The sources of information to evaluate the financial health of the financial results of companies were qualified for Section J of PKD 2007, published in the Polish Monitor B contained in the database EMIS.
