Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to present researches being conducted over four years from 2011 to 2014 on the effectiveness of promotional activities of the city of Kołobrzeg. The paper presents the implementation of the plan to promote the city in 2012, as a team base camp for one of the football teams taking part in the UEFA Euro 2012
