Management of carriage – good practices

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issues of management of carriage in trade transactions. The contact party who seized the carriage takes responsibility of transport, costs and risk. In practise the incoterms rules are used to define the sellers` and buyers` obligations. The article also presents solutions appied in enterprise being a partner of the global OEM and focuses on good practises. It also presents relations between modes of transport and costs, as well as rates applying to the efficiency of transport.
