Summary/Abstract: The Gdynia-Karlskrona ferry connection, which importance is constantly growing, constitutes an important link between Poland and Sweden. However, rising cargo transport volumes are not accompanied by an increasing number of ferry passengers. The latter is highly important from the ferry operator’s point of view, as well as to the city of Gdynia. Therefore it is crucial to create favorable traveling conditions for the passengers. This study presents an evaluation of pre-embarkation services in three dimensions: services available on the ferry terminal, its transport accessibility and information availability. Moreover, the authors have suggested essential improvements, some of which have been recently realized.
