Two approaches to the modernization of the «sexual upbringing» of the present-day pupils in Russia (1990—2000)

Summary/Abstract: In the article the author interprets the essence of positions of the adherents and opponents of the modernization of the pupils’ «sexual upbringing» and of the introduction of the modern sexual education program, discussed in the pedagogical periodicals in the end of the 1990s — beginning of the 2000s. The tendency to the clericalisation of pupils’ upbringing, which contradicts the goals of education in the postindustrial society is underlined.
