Summary/Abstract: The institutional aspect of the gender modernization of the Soviet political system through the analysis of zhenotdels RCP(b) activities is examined. The author demonstrates the uniqueness of the Soviet model, in which the Bolsheviks sought to combine the solution of «woman’s question» and the questions of socialist construction.
