Summary/Abstract: The article presents new opportunities for legal, organizational and financial support for better implementation of the tasks of local government units of health protection. First of all, attention has focused on identifying such opportunities, which have great potential but have not been used or are poorly known among decision-makers in healthcare (that is, managers of public medical entities and their forming bodies).
