Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the usefulness of benchmarking management, including risk management in medical entities. It pointed out benchmarking as a means of risk management, focused on ensuring efficient operation, assessed through the prism of two critical values: to ensure the financial non-negative profitability and at least the average quality of the provision of health protection.
