Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to analyze the concept of intercultural dialogue and its impact over the social life in the EU. We emphasize the importance of intercultural dialoguehaving as essential principle the respect for the cultural diversity, considering that the teaching of foreign languages is included in this dialogic space of language and culture.
