Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the possibility to use the strategic economic profit matrix to analyze the effectiveness of the mining enterprise value management. This matrix allows to determine the position of the selected companies in terms of opportunities and the ability to create value. This matrix also inform policy makers what action they should take in the future periods of functioning of the enterprise, that this value could be effectively maximized. The relevant calculations were performed for the selected mining company.
