From the Music Culture Department to the Music Art Studies

Marking the tenth anniversary of the Music Art Studies at the FPMOZ in Mostar

Summary/Abstract: The paper gives a historical review, founded on the research and data gathering, of the development of music programs: from the Music Culture Department at the Teacher Training College – at which the program with the same name was opened in the academic year 2005/2006 – up to the newly founded Music Art Studies at the Faculty of Science of the University in Mostar with several different majors. The paper covers the curricula, the requirements and conditions of classification examinations, competencies; attached are the lists of the first enrolled generations, final and diploma papers, awards, concerts and the lists of the administrative personnel and professors having worked at the Music Art Studies for ten years (inclusively with September 2015).
