Summary/Abstract: Negotiations of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership between the US and the EU aim at the creation of the world’s largest free trade zone, which will significantly affect the conditions of bilateral exchange and will lead to the emergence of new competitive challenges. The purpose of this paper is to identify and try to assess the potential benefits for Polish exporters, resulting from the liberalization of transatlantic trade. Research carried out through the analysis of statistical data and literature studies has shown that the conclusion of the agreement can provide a strong impetus to the growth of Polish exports, both direct and indirect, the latter resulting from the stimulation of the US exchange with other member states. The elimination of tariff barriers, as well as greater harmonization of the rules should lead to production and exports increases in most sectors, especially in auto parts, metal products, processed foods and chemicals.
