Spatial and organizational aspects of the Polish- -Czech borderland development

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns spatial and organizational aspects of development of the Polish-Czech borderland. The next European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation − EGTC Novum is under creation there. The newest document of the development of Polish-Czech borderland “Strategy of integrated cooperation of the Czech-Polish borderland” has been described. The author states that the appearance of EGTC Novum on the Polish-Czech borderland creates a new quality and starts a new stage of its economic development. This initiative promotes the economic attractiveness of the borderland, especially the development of tourism in the form of appearing at the same time cross-border tourism cluster.
