Summary/Abstract: This article considers one of those commanders of the Red Army, who had highly trained and possessing outstanding abilities on the eve of the Great Patriotic war. At the same time, he was not able to realize his right to the protection of the Motherland. Both authors have written about the hero of this article, but information was placed in the different books, so it is fragmentary. Moreover, if one of the authors was regarded mainly the initial service of the hero in the Red Army, the second studied the final stage of its life. The authors combined their efforts to study the personality, who stood at the origins of the Red Army and published his the most complete biography.
