Summary/Abstract: The author presents aspects related to the religious life of the city of Tulcea, with a special view of the “Buna Vestire” (Annunciation) Church. The church built by the Hellenic community celebrated 160 years of existence in 2014. On this occasion, the parish priest of the “Buna Vestire” Church, Father Daniel Petre, penned and published the book titled Biserica Buna Vestire – Tulcea – File de cronică [Annunciation Church of Tulcea – Pages of Chronicle]. On the same occasion, a medal was issued and gifted to the local authorities who attended the event. The medal was also included in the numismatic collections of several museums (History and Archaeology Museum of Tulcea, Romanian Marine Museum of Constanța, National History and Archaeology Museum of Constanța, History Museum of Galați).
