Summary/Abstract: The subject of political violence still raises serious debates in academia and scientific environments, both in terms of terminology analysis and understanding and placement of the concept of communist dictatorial regimes. This study aims to detect cases of political violence by finding the elements related to human nature or historical and social context, to emphasize analytical levels of investigations, to discuss direct and structural violence (Johan Galtung), or the utter terror (Hannah Arendt). Domination of population from communist states through violence and terror, elimination of political opponents by an institutionalized policy of repression, renders the criminal purpose of these regimes.
