Summary/Abstract: First, this study aims to present the National Liberal Party journalistic effort to impose his speech towards society and to set the public agenda. At the same time, it describes the main publications of the Romanian liberals, Viitorul (The Future) and L 'Indépendance Roumanie, and shows the multiple functions of a party newspaper. The press approach of the Romanian liberals demonstrates their desire to achieve their political goals in the rural and traditionalist interwar society, less permeable to the liberal values. Liberal media tries to condition the political behavior of the liberalism opponents. At the same time, more important than to inform or to educate, the press was an important factor in the Liberal party organization: it contributes to the creation of liberal solidarity. Symbol of the public space, the media had such an important role in the integration of party member: it puts the individual in a certain political family background, gives him the picture of the social reality.
