Summary/Abstract: When talking about Facebook as a factory of narcissism, Mr. Teodor Baconschi gives an large space to socio-cultural syndrome that enormously steals our creative energies: Illusion of authority (Facebook. Fabrica de narcisism/ Facebook. Factory of narcissism, Humanitas, 2015, p. 97). If on the virtual space it is the generator of many biographies that assail us and banish our peace, now we see it permeating politics and the daily life and thus tensioning the human relationships. That has a precedent only in temptations of the Christ Savior in Carantania. Be like us, the intolerant minorities in Romania, and everything will be well. An unfair good that makes us sweep the history, mentality and morality under the carpet, in order to adjust to the requirements of small groups suffering from the illusion of authority. You are wondering, often, as I do, where the force of all denominations of stray humanism comes from, who gave birth to them and where would they want to lead us. The situation is obvious. They have illusory titles and careless culture and a kind of mandatory mediocrity imposes their representatives as leaders. Listen to them and read attentively how they write and, more recently, how they teach their young lackeys to participate in building a culture based on caricatural prophecies, on false cares of everything and everybody, trying to pose as initiated willing to initiate any zealous acolyte. If the Baconshi’s book identifies not only these aspects but others too, as frameworks of an illusion related to authority at the virtual communication level, we see them now staring at us in our daily communication, often supported by a legislation rigged overnight by their persuasion, which are transformed into threats, yarns of reedomintertwined with ropes of spiritual halters.
