The impact of the quality management system for the improvement of selected logistics processes in a large manufacturing company

Summary/Abstract: In current market conditions, companies are forced to look for solutions to improve the functioning of their internal processes. The aims of the publication is to investigate the influence it exerts on implementation of standardized quality management system for the improvement of selected logistics processes in a large manufacturing company. The research tool was a questionnaire addressed to the management representative for integrated quality management system. In addition, the analysis of system documentation has been made and conducted direct interviews with employees of the company. Based on study it was found that correct implementation and improvement of the quality management system provides a significant support for logistics processes, affects the development of higher standards and strengthen relationships with suppliers.
