Summary/Abstract: Amalie Kasin Lerstang (born in 1988) is a Norwegian writer who published her first novel Europa in 2014. In Norway her novel got a lot of attention, and won the prestigious book award for debutants: Tarjei Vesaas´debutantpris. This book award was established by Tarjei Vesaas himself, and has been given to one debutant each year since 1964. Several of the authors who have received this price are respected and well-known authors today. Some of them, like Jan Erik Vold, Lars Saabye Christensen and Carl Frode Tiller, have also been translated to Romanian.
