Summary/Abstract: The investigation rewrites the history of Bulgarian medieval state in the first half of 9th century on the basis of the assumption of the ideological apocalypse, caused by the capture of the capital Pliska by the army of Nicephor I Genic. We suppose, that the short-lived from political point of view military failure of khan Krum has serious far-reaching effects in respect to the discreditation of the ideological plots, certified the cosmic legitimacy of Bulgarian state. This investigation’s approach clarifies many mysterious events took place in the first half of 9th century.
