Summary/Abstract: Waclaw Berent's novel Ozim" asserts the necessity for a new reading of the world and Slavic cultural traditions and of the intellectual models of perception of the national cultural heritage. The novel's complex metaphoricity is evidence of the transformation of the intellectual journey into a pilgirmage.
