Summary/Abstract: In the introductory part of the experiment is made književnoistorijski review of the life and literary work of three prominent politicians and writers Serbian 19th century, the Cedomilj Mijatovic (1842-1932), Milutin Garasanin (1843-1898) and Vladan Djordjevic (1844-1930). In the central part reflected briefly points to their rep- esentative literary works. Featured are historical novels and short stories Cedomilj Mijatovic: Iconia, the Vizier's mother (1891), Rajko of Rasina (1892), Prince of Gra- doje Eagles City (1899), Queen Anđelija (1928), and traveler's books of prose and picture opportunities Constantinople (1901). From a literary opus Milutin Garasanin n particular was singled out books meditative-satirical prose Dokolice (1892). While n a literary work Vladan Djorđevic especially emphasized trotomni historical novel Emperor Dusan (started 1875th year, and ended only in 1919th year), and six books memoarskih remembrance (of which only the first was published in Novi Sad, the 1927th year, and other parts are still in manuscript).
