Summary/Abstract: The relationship between the individual and the state is fundamentally prescribed. The protection of the individuals from the abuses of the states’ authorities is to be known as the protection of human rights. The levels of this legal protection are domestic or municipal and international or European. Our material presents the compliance of the rights protected by the Romanian Constitution with the European Convention on Human Rights.
